FULL FACE LIFT
A facelift has traditionally always been carried out to give the face a more youthful appearance and has typically only been offered to a much older clientele. While this may be your primary concern, Dr. Yazan has opposed beliefs to most surgeons that a facelift can only be suitable for more mature patients. On the contrary, he is of the opinion that a more beautiful face shape should not be denied to younger patients to contour and balance their features.
All Dr. Yazan’s lifting surgeries are ‘deep plane’ procedures. His technique tightens the underlying support muscles which allows him to achieve permanent results with minimal scarring. One incision is made on each side of the face discreetly behind the hairline above the temple area and extends down inside the cartilage area at the front of the ear, it continues around the back of the ear lobe and finishes in the crease behind the ear. Therefore, the upper, mid and lower face are all tightened and lifted.
Patients require general anaesthetic and 1 night stay in hospital.
MINI FACE LIFT
The mini facelift is recommended for a patient with a heavy (fat) lower third of the face. It also addresses nasolabial lines and extra skin concerns in the mid face and jawline areas. If a patient desires a narrower ‘V shaped’ face then a mini facelift is the solution. One incision is made on each side of the face in front of the ear inside the cartilage area, it extends down around the lobe and finishes in the crease behind the ear. This is a deep plane permanent procedure tightening the underlying supportive tissues as well as the skin in the mid and lower third of the face. This procedure can often be combined with ‘buccal fat removal’ and/or ‘double chin vaser liposuction’ to strengthen the cheekbones and further improve the jawline.
Patients require general anaesthetic and 1 night stay in hospital.
HOW IS THE FACE LIFT OPERATION HEALING PROCESS?
The average recovery time for face lift surgery is 2 to 4 weeks. You can see the final result in about 3 to 6 months. The healing time of scars after facelift surgery varies from person to person. While the structure of some patients is prone to rapid healing and less scar formation, some patients may be prone to delayed healing and more scar tissue formation. Although rare, scars may not heal well in some patients or they may turn into keloids. It takes 1 year for the scars to completely heal.

NECK LIFT
Dr Yazan’s neck lift procedure is usually recommended for more mature patients presenting with a lot of excess skin and sagging in the lower 3rd of the face and neck. This surgery is either combined with a ‘facelift’ or ‘mini facelift’. The incision from the facelift / mini facelift is extended from the crease behind the ear discreetly into the hairline in the lower scalp area, underlying tissues and excess skin are lifted and tightened around the neck which will help to maintain and support your chosen facelift and give a more youthful all round result.
CENTRAL NECK LIFT
The central neck lift has been designed by Dr Yazan for patients with a pocket of fat under their chin (double chin). A discreet incision is made horizontally under the chin, the excess fat is then removed, followed by vertical tightening of the underlying tissues and skin for a drastically improved jawline. The surgery is most effective when combined with a mini facelift for optimum results.
Patients require general anaesthetic and 1 night stay in hospital.
FACIAL FAT TRANSFER AND REJUVENATION
Dr Yazan does not believe in facial fillers as they are detrimental to the skin laxity and cause sagging with long term usage. Therefore, for patients wishing to rejuvenate their skin and lost volume in their face he offers the superior alternative of a facial fat transfer. All areas of the face can be treated including the forehead, cheeks, nose, chin and lips which adds volume and sculpting with the benefit of rejuvenating and improving the quality of the patients skin.
CHIN VASER LIPOSUCTION
If you have a stubborn area of fat under the chin creating a double chin effect and your skin is in good condition then vaser liposuction is a good option. This procedure should be combined with a ‘mini facelift’ to tighten and lift the skin after the unwanted fat has been removed. Vaser lipo is an ultrasound assisted liposuction for enhanced results and faster recovery. The chin is an effective area to treat with very discrete entry points that are barely visible when healed.
LIP LIFT
Dr Yazan is a pioneer in the modern lip lift. A lip lift procedure has been most typically performed on more mature patients to give a more youthful appearance. However, Dr Yazan believes that the nose to lip distance proportion on the face is key to a more feminine beauty. It is his strong opinion that when shrinking the size of a patient's nose it is equally important to take their nose to lip distance into consideration as this must be balanced to perfect their beauty. Dr Yazan is well known for his personal lip lift technique involving a discreet incision hidden in the crease under the nostrils, the underlying tissues of the upper lip are tightened which supports the lifting of the skin in order to minimise scarring. The lip lift is popular with patients as an addition to their rhinoplasty but can be performed as a stand alone procedure when necessary.

This edema formation is a reaction of the body to surgery and stitches.Edema may occur on the lips after lip lift application. Numbness and swelling can be seen with edema. These will pass over time. The average recovery period is 1 week.Stitches are removed 5-7 days after the operation. The scar healing takes time to 1 year .

Regardless of weight, the most suitable patient candidates for bichectomy are those with genetically plump cheeks. When planning this operation, the bony prominence of the cheeks and the fullness of the chin should also be taken into account. The most important detail in the bichectomy operation is to correctly plan the amount of fat to be removed and to calculate the cheek-chin ratios correctly.
